About us       

We are Jan and Ili, a Dutch/Tica couple and we are the owners of this bed & breakfast. We designed our accommodation at the end of 1998 and little by little we realized our dream: our home, the cabins and the tropical garden with many fruittrees.
Our object was to create a little paradise for us and for our guests and of course we are proud of the result: a very nice place to live and to stay. Besides we still try to improve our cabins, service and quality. We offer middle class cabins for almost budget prices!

We chose the western part of the central valley of Costa Rica for our bed & breakfast, because it has one of the best climates in Costa Rica and in the world: warm and dry, but not too hot! Daily we have temperatures between 17 degrees at night and max 32 degrees during daytime.

Our bed & breakfast is situated just outside the village of Turrúcares, more or less in the middle of the mountains, because we like nature and peace! Still it's easy to go to Alajuela, San José or your next destination. In the morning you will be woke up by the birds and in the afternoon you can watch some birds taking a bath in our pool.
 Our goal is to offer a vacation like you are with friends, so we invite you after your flight to drink something with us at our terrace.

We are not part of any group of hotels in Costa Rica, because we like to be free to suggest places or accommodation to visit in Costa Rica. We are delighted to help you with tours or planning your vacation all over Costa Rica, we make tailor made vacations at your wish. Visit our Tours page to get more ideas. We try to collaborate with the local people of Costa Rica, for this reason we are in touch with various small, most of the time local companies. Of course you receive personal attention from one of us! We can attend you in English, Spanish, German and Dutch.
